Allmän beskrivning: This is a test hole in the NNW corner of the trench after removal of part of the baulk separating delområde C from D, & to find the bottom of this feature S200 running across the site. We have followed ash S201 to the E and the parallel ash feature to the W forms the other boundary. The fill as seen in higher levels is dark and very loose, with some large stone and plenty of bone.
